One of the original names in low-dose edibles, Mr. Moxey's presses cannabinoids together with functional botanicals into small, artisan herbal mints. The line moves by mood — Relief (lemon-ginger, 2.5mg each CBG/CBD/THC), Dream (lavender, 2.5mg THC + 2.5mg CBN + 5mg CBD), Relax and Energize (5mg THC), and Balance (a 1:1 blend of 5mg THC + 5mg CBD) — each a specific herb-and-cannabinoid pairing rather than a one-size dose. Servings are intentionally gentle and packed twenty to a tin (forty in Relief), meant for easing in rather than knocking you out. Every batch is lab tested, with results published by batch.

FAQs

Is THC legal in Pennsylvania?

Hemp-derived THC products are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill when they contain no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight, and Pennsylvania follows that federal definition. Everything intoxicating at Hippie & French is hemp-derived, lab tested, and sold only to adults 21 and over.

What is hemp-derived THC?

It is THC that comes from the hemp plant instead of marijuana. The experience is similar; the legal category is different, which is why we can sell it in Pittsburgh outside of a dispensary.

Will hemp-derived THC show up on a drug test?

Yes. Drug tests look for THC metabolites and do not distinguish hemp THC from marijuana. If you are subject to testing, skip THC products entirely.

How long do edibles take to kick in?

Usually 30 to 90 minutes, because they pass through digestion first. Effects commonly last 4 to 6 hours. Do not take a second dose just because the first one has not arrived yet.

How much should I take?

Start low. For most new customers that means 5mg or half of a standard gummy, then wait a full two hours. You can always take more next time.

What is the difference between Delta-8 and Delta-9?

Delta-9 is the classic THC molecule. Delta-8 is a related hemp cannabinoid most people describe as milder and smoother. Every product label states which one you are getting.
